A 5-star campground designed with relaxation as its top priority
There are campsites where every hour of the day is packed with activities. La Ferme de la Serraz isn’t one of them—and that’s exactly what our guests love about it.
Here, the atmosphere is peaceful, the nights are mild, and the mornings belong to those who wish to savor them at their own pace. Our philosophy is that of a high-end establishment where comfort, nature, and tranquility are the main promises of your stay. If you’re looking for a pleasant place to stay, a pool where you can truly take your time, a few friendly gatherings, and above all, a natural setting that speaks for itself—then you’ve come to the right place.
That doesn’t mean there’s no camping life here. It’s simply done in moderation, by choice, in keeping with the spirit of the place.

Activities offered at La Ferme de la Serraz

Water activities around the pool
The centerpiece of our water park in Doussard is our heated indoor pool, which is open to all our guests, no matter the weather. In the Alps, the weather can be unpredictable, even in July. We consider this a vital amenity, and it’s one of the most highly rated features in our guests’ reviews.
The pool area is designed for both relaxation and fun. Children will have a great time here, and adults can slip in during off-peak hours for a few quiet laps. Pool hours are posted on-site and available from our team at the front desk.
Spaces designed for children and teenagers
At the heart of Ferme de la Serraz, the little ones have their own special spot. In July and August, the kids’ club welcomes young vacationers for activities led by our team: crafts, group games, nature exploration… all opportunities for children to create their own memories, while parents enjoy some time to themselves.
During the same period, the teen club offers a program tailored to their needs, featuring sports challenges, outings, and age-appropriate activities. It’s a place where they can hang out together, build friendships, and enjoy their vacation at their own pace.
Outside of club hours, the outdoor playground remains open to the public throughout the season, perfect for impromptu visits and family afternoons.
Seasonal events and special evenings
During peak season, the team at our restaurant, Le Spot de la Serraz, offers occasional events and lively evenings that add a touch of fun to the week without overloading the schedule. These events vary by year and season: themed nights, musical performances, family activities, and more. The schedule is provided at the start of your stay and may change over the course of the weeks.
This one-time event is a deliberate choice. It allows everyone to participate if they wish, or to continue enjoying the peace and quiet of the campground if that’s what they prefer. Nothing is mandatory; everything is possible.

The real fun is also outside: Doussard, the lake, and the Alps
Let’s be honest: at Ferme de la Serraz, a significant part of what makes a stay here special happens off-site. And that’s one of the great things about our location.
Doussard is located south of Lake Annecy, in one of France’s most remarkable natural settings. Just a few minutes from the campground, the lake offers a variety of water activities: stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, canoeing, and swimming in waters of rare clarity. Cycling routes along the shore are accessible to the whole family. Local markets are held nearby, Savoie cheeses are available first thing in the morning, and the surrounding mountains offer hiking trails for all skill levels.
The center of Annecy is less than a 20-minute drive away, with its canals, medieval streets, restaurants, and shops. It’s an outing that our guests particularly enjoy at the beginning or end of their stay.
For those who want to venture further afield, the Alps offer memorable day-trip destinations: the Gorges du Fier, the Route des Grandes Alpes, the thermal baths of Aix-les-Bains —just an hour’s drive away—or the Beaufortain mountain pastures for a high-altitude excursion into the heart of rural Savoie.
Our on-site team is available to assist you based on your preferences and at your own pace—it’s one of the services we love to provide, and one of the things that often makes a difference in our customers’ feedback.
